We see our work experience programme as the potential start of your career journey.

This is a fantastic opportunity to introduce you to the reality of working life. The aim is to provide learning and insight, by exposing you to a variety of tasks and experiences within our industry.

Important information to consider

To be eligible for a place:

• You must be a year 9 – 11 student within our local area, and have available transport to and from Stanlow
• You must not have carried out a work experience placement with us, in any department, within the last six months
• You must have a strong interest in working within our industry and the particular field in which you have requested a placement
• You must submit within your application an up to date CV
• You must have confirmed parental and school/college approval to attend your placement

If my application was successful what would my placement look like?

We have a number of different work areas and departments at Stanlow and placements would vary across these.  However, we have outlined below the basics of our placements:

• A one-week placement within one of our areas or departments at the Stanlow site
• Exposure to a variety of different work tasks within your chosen area
• Guided and coached at all times by an experienced team member
• Encouraged to complete a student log which will give you the opportunity to reflect on your placement day
